Herm is booked but unfortunately we were not the first party to book up, not really an issue but there is a different format for this years at the Top Deck in Herm.
there are four menus to choose from but the first booking gets the choice & others have to follow!

You wont have this year as the buses now run to 2am & go past the Piette to the Bridge every 30mins & that will take you pretty close to the camp site.
Same thing on the Sat night just too.

It's looking more and more likely that I will be coming over on my lonesome for the meet as my Dad is struggling to get leave. Any advise on a campsite close to the activities? I was thinking of this one:

Previously Grant offered to take heavy Spearo kit over, is anyone coming down the M3 and only going either for the long weekend or a week? To take weights and possibly more Spearo kit?

We stayed there last year and are going back there again this year. They have lots of space, hot showers, freezers etc. There is a supermarket across the road for food and beer. Look for the big orange Vango Force 10 ridge tent and that will be us.
We catch the ferry at 08:30 on Thurs 1st from Poole and are coming back on the 5th at 17:30 if that helps at all?

Thats like some of the stuff the missus trys to get me to eat! The Spanish would eat a ruptured rat! :yack

First course was marshmallows stuffed with chilli & caper's soaked in fermented fish sauce, next up was a stuffed fig with goats cheese & green coloured fish eggs, next was a drink of raw egg, fish sauce & a selection of insects, forth course was a very simple half a small octopus each.
