Er, no actually - am I going to regret that ?
I hear there may be a Volkswagen van heading South with a bit of space on its roof for the ferry ;-)

And where do I put baby Whelan?bit extreme but.......... gear in a dry bag and dive gear on with buoy line tied to fast ferry should do the job!
Just get on the boat boat as a foot passenger, someone will pick you up in Guernsey.
I think most of the camp sites have been discussed earlier in the thread, taxis are expensive but, buses are £1 a trip anywhere on the island.
I'm sure I'll have some space in my truck for gear but the seats are full im afraid. I'm going across for 2 weeks from the 29th so may not be much use for you but if it will work you can meet us somewhere and chuck your gear onboard.
Thanks for offers of taking our heavy Spearo kit, might take you up on that Grant!
Okay so its looking very cheap £60 for the two of us as foot passengers, any recommended camping areas with basic facilities & a shower unit close to the area of the comp's/socials?
Are taxi's expensive on the Island?
Sorry for all the questions - getting a little excited now! :friday
................. not to mention smelly and toxic
That's the same site I found, how many of you are staying there then?Last year we stayed here HOME - they were good and still are the cheapest camping in Guernsey. We'll be staying there again this year...
...unless anyone wants to put us up in their garden *hint hint, nudge nudge*
