OK folks - registration is now closed and we are not accepting any more entries! We will be proceeding on booking and organizing the event on the details we've received below.

We're getting very excited about the whole thing and can't wait to see you all there!

amazing that there are 3 Ian Smiths coming over - going to be confusing!!!
 
Well that is the list of registrations, but out of the 43 I only have 21 food orders!
Perhaps some of those guys have changed their minds about coming over, however last year several members just turned up unexpectedly!
It is very difficult to get every one to confirm if they are booked up with travel & accommodation & are definitely coming?
On the other hand there seems to be quite a few members who are not bringing there wives to the social events, I can see at least four members who brought partners last year but have not registered their partners this year!
We will try another roll call via email but I somehow doubt if we will get exact numbers until the event happens.
 

Any others going with rug-rats? There may be some babysitting to do?? Don't worry though Edin has volunteered to run a DB creche for the weekend so we can all go fishing and make the most of the socials. Thats me and Grant sorted for gettin pished then! Thankyou Edin! Top man! thats what friends are for! :friday rofl
 
We need to see how many he can get in his two man tent with him when we're night diving? I reckon 3 and a box of nappies will be fine?

Edin you are a star! Stephan might be interested too - in fact you could not only look after his baby but, he also has a mother in law coming too!

It's actually my Mum coming not Mum-in-Law Baby sitting is always welcomed!

Not long now!!

So who is coming over early & exactly when are you coming, what time do you arrive?
Someone can probably meet you & show you to your tent, hotel or whatever but we might need a bit of notice.
Will you have transport or not?

We have not managed to get everybody who signed up to confirm they are actually coming! However we do have a good amount for this years event :friday we just need the finale details to make sure everybody is booked in for the meals including there partners & wives if they are joining us too!
We cant promise any late comers places now as thing have be booked but I can try....so this really is the last chance ...

helloo haven't had internet for a while due to house building but catching up on here. foxfish if you do need help with any thing im all ways willing to help out.
 
TEAM EVENTS AT FISH IN?

With Martyn's permission................. posting an idea.

Jersey boys are volunteering to sponsor a (small!) trophy to introduce a team element to the "fish in". Same rules , as the normal Fish in, but instead of just an individual winning there cld also be a team winner.

Jsy are hopefully bringing six divers, I am sure Guernsey will match that? At least that number are coming from UK ( not forgetting bonnie Scotland!) what do you think? Adds even more fun?

Jsy happy to organise team aspect.

The 'Northern' team just had a week long training camp in preparation for Guernsey - here's our secret weapon, Mr Octopus, training hard


We'd like to nominate Yeti for the Fish Finger Eating Cup as we feel he's particularly strong in this discipline and could potentially smash all records.
 
We're coming over on the 1st Aug and doing a bit of sightseeing for a day or two. Does anyone know where I can pick up one of those parking clocks to use around the island?
