Clocks are on sale on the boat, pick one up with your duty frees.

Great training programme. LOL. ............ we have a Northern Team!

Wld that be Northern or Scottish?

Mike, we like the idea as long as long as the weekend remains light hearted & fun, your idea can only add to the event!

There is no paid parking, all parking is free but you need to display a parking clock.
Also... speed limits vary from 15 - 35mph max, we have filter in turns at most junctions - you are required to filter through the junction in turn! the filters are marked with a yellow grid on the road. The lanes are narrow in places, but might still be two way traffic, so be prepared to reverse & have patience!
Drink driving is definitely not an option as the police are on the ball & tough.. anyway this is Guernsey ..take it easy dudes..

Oh just can't wait to try and navigate my big Mitsubishi 4x4 around Guernsey - I think it could be entertaining indeed!

Does it have wing mirrors at the moment?

hahaha! a wheel off-road is not an option either......most roads end in ................WAAAAAAAAAAAAALL!!!!

I think the bull bars are going back on.

I like a bit of dodgems

hmmmm! A UK number plate helps in that respect! I don't have to advertise the fact I'm an idiot.....I just get treated like one automatically.... as I absent mindedly sail through them :naughty.......The hire cars all have a big sticker on them for a very good reason!! :waterwork

........Grant, the Scottish flag on your number plate will be invaluable so everyone can just 'assume' idiot, angry, and quite possibly p!ssed!

no stereotypes there at all...humdehum! sweeping generalisations of course!........at least you don't have to get a sneaky Russian through customs in a van full of gear!

As far as In aware Guernsey is a Scottish Colonial outpost so I'll be fine.
Just watch that sneaky Russian isn't trying to slip in unobtrusively in his Speedos or Tartan PJs

Here is the current registered list of attendees. Please check your details and activities are correct! Also if there is a yellow box by one of your choices it means we are still waiting for you to respond!!

DEEPER BLUE, GUERNSEY FISH IN 2013
SPEARFISHING WEEKEND -TEAM EVENT
To add another bit of fun, for those that want to, we will also have a light hearted team event.
A team should consist of between three and six divers. The rules are basically the same as the individual “Fish in”, with the
same species list and weight limits, but the team catch will contribute.
The winning team, will be the team that catches the highest number of different eligible species ie the most species. In the event of the draw (ie two or more teams catch the same number of different species) the weight of the heaviest fish of each species, will be added together, and the team with the heaviest weight wins.
So far we have at least two teams. The “Jersey boys” and the “Guern…ards” We may also have a Northern team (if that’s the name) so far consisting of Yeti, Grantl and Mr Octopus. Rumour has it that they have already been is serious training…….LOL !!! There approx. 16 Uk divers so potential for at least two or three English teams.
If u want to take part in the team event, you are invited to form your own teams, u may have to mix and match from different areas. Please post ur team names and divers asap.
The Jersey boys are sponsoring a “ small” trophy which will be awarded to the winning team.

Team C.R.A.P will be there, representing SW England.
Trelawney (Aquatic Womble), rowan.harvey (Crustacean King), alix.leclerc (Mullet Murderer).

Our team name is The Tartan Tramps
'Northern' is too far South!

(hahaha! pipp'd! by the way I'm not scottish but I qualify on 'tramplike' appearances)

It's 'Tartan Tramps' .... and performance will be roughly inversely proportional to how much air space resides in the bottle of 'Sailor Jerry', the Whisky, and the coolbox! :friday zzz

So on the Sunday after the spearfishing competition you will have two hours to find your way to our garden for the prize giving.
We will be supplying food & soft drinks but could you please bring your own alcohol supplies for the evening.
It might pay to buy your tipple at the duty free shop or on the boat!
