Do not help or show kindness to this man in any way, shape or form!

Do not even communicate with him - trust me, you will only end up regretting it.

Apart from that, I don't know what is going on down at Omer: they appear to have two (maybe even three) versions of their foot pockets on the market at the moment - and the sizing doesn't seem to match up between these versions either.

I've got a spare 43/45 if you want it, which is similar in dimensions to the 42/44 that I think you are after (although, if you do end up swimming around in circles, don't come complaining to me!).

:friday:friday:friday:friday:friday:friday BBQ at the new place on my return.

Bring a bottle and a sleeping bag. RSVP

Oh and the Med is lovely and warm with no wind and 30m viz.. Tiz a hard life.

If anyone is interested, O Three are now selling a wetsuit sock that is open celled on the inside.

It is made by Immersion, goes up to 5mm, and is lined with material on the inner sole to prevent the wearer from slipping and sliding all over the place (I've had open celled socks in the past that were not double-lined on the sole, and I found them virtually unusable: I looked like an ice skating circus clown trying to get down to the water - even more of a clown than I usually look - sliding and falling all over the place as my foot skidded around inside the sock. And when I got in the water my fins kept slipping off my foot!).

Anyway, I haven't tested them yet but they do look good; in fact they look so good I've bought two pairs.

They're in the shop now, if you want a pair - get in early!

Bryn not jealous much!

Here is my winter project, new Speargun rack for the boat made out of stainless steel and guttering downpipe!

IMG_0297.jpg
Spearguns x6 slide into downpipe only three in picture can you guess the gun types?

IMG_0298.jpg
Stainless steel bracket for which I have recorded the dimensions hangs off the underside of sports bars, could just as easily mount it on the side. Bracket can be adjusted to suit the size and shape of sports bars on boat.

Cut the underside of pipe to suit your guns.

My mission/project is turning this:

Product Description

Into a dive hunter, with lots of hand sewing of webbing straps to attach D-rings and sewing in shoulder straps. Then using on old webbing type weight belt sewn in as a holder for a tent pole to attach my Alpha flag.

It is very time consuming though sewing with thick thread...! But I am sure it will be worth it - by the massive cost saving!

I will post the results when it is finally finished.

Sounds good!
If you use a waxed sailmaking thread then you get a much stronger stitch, so less stitches overall and its resistant to salt/uv and a lot quicker to sow with. You need a hefty old needle too tho. I used to be a sailmaker and still have a reel of thread, some needles and a palm left over - very useful.
Post some pics when you're done with the mods :)

Cheers guys.

Johny it is the needle that is the problem! Having to use my Gerber tool to pull the thread through!

Unfortunately not Podge, still a great bargain - if you own a dive hunter I would be gutted for the price you paid!

Cheers Kev, if only I had the money to buy a boat to modify... House first, then boat me thinks. As soon as I can shift this flat!

Ryan

My winter project has been diy and baby cultivation - no diving for a bit then! Nice rack Kev, have some rep.
