Apparently the vis in bournemouth/boscombe is pretty good. As I'm strapped for time tomorrow I might get in around boscombe pier or over at double dyke with it being close

Off to saunton in North Devon tomorrow to check out the vis Web cam on the beach shows that it is pretty flat for the north coast.i use the beech web cam sites for up to date info on chop

Hi everyone.

I just joined up as I'm looking for some like minded spearfishing buddy's and some advise on location and tactics in British waters. I was living in Australia and spearfished for four years and was a member of a club. I'm really missing diving as much as I was but I try to go as much I can. I've been to bognor regis and portland since I've been back but as always a bit of local knowledge helps, so any advise would be appreciated. I'm also aware of the dangers of portland and already take safety seriously. Many thanks. Mick.

Well....yesterday there was no vis from weymouth to poole as I checked every mark :(

I got in the harbour with Will on Friday night. 1-2m murky viz, no fish seen except one small flounder and one big one which Will shot. Roll on clear waters...

No vis in bournemouth/boscombe yesterday and can't imagine it will change much today

Pretty brown and horrible all along as far as I have seen.

Just read this: classic! " "I thought at least he won't die in vain, so I managed to get the fish," he said."

Gutted, winds going a tad strong and SW again :( I've been in twice since it's settled and only manged enough silvers to count on one hand in the poor vis :(. I'm sure the fish are there, if you can see them.

I use one called "breath holding trainer" by Foncannon inc on my android phone from Google playstore.
Its ok but sometimes the voice promts decide to not actually work but as long as you keep an eye on it then its fine!
