Right on. If, everyone agreed we would never progress. Differences of opinion are healthy as long as they don't become grounds for personal attacks on individuals. Mark, that is right, don't speculate. I wouldn't.

I would be mortified if I made a mistake in my calculations or the opinions which are arrived at by long experience and an elementary physical analysis. If anyone points out a mistake I will admit it and provide clarifying remarks. It wouldn't be the first time. However, my opinions or conclusions are objectively arrived at and I stand by them. The only time in recent history that I have been rightly critqued on a dive board had to do with the definition of STP (standard temp and press) and how it is defined by industry. That is it and it was not a big deal but I felt embarrassed.

If I were you I would watch what I say also. Fortunately, I don't have to worry about my boss's opinion and a possible visit by somebody with a thick neck and broken nose.

I was just going over the posts from Spearboard and now I remember where I have seen you. I was kinda wondering why the offhanded insult from you since we've never talked before.

You are one of the guys that has his head far up Daryl Wong's (and company) ass. I guess you are still carrying the Daryl Wong banner and are pissed at me because I dared to question something to do with Daryl Wong your hero on Spearboard. Now you want to carry the fight over here to Deeperblue. Since you don't know me and we have never written to each other it can only be that. Otherwise why the hostility?

Anyway, FYI, I live about 45 minutes from you straight up I-95 in Broward County. If you can get your head and your balls out of Daryl's ass for a minute you can get directions from Sheri D. or Mark. L. and you can say it all to my face instead of trying to be cute on the forum tossing insults at people without provocation.

On the other hand if you had any class you would drop it before you drag the same trash over here that was on Spearboard.

Let me clue you in on a few things. I ain't spearing an fish at my keybaord either. Daryl is my hero, and nothing you can say or do will change that. I don't hesitate to recommend guns from other manufacturers the important part is getting wet and giving it a go, not arguing about stupid stuff....

My original post on this thread wasn't to insult anyone, just to make light of the subject of gun selection and how some people make wild claims and often supported by nothing. and the fact the thread was hijacked for no reason and how little this does to help the original quetion at hand. I'd undesrtand if you came out and said I only shoot beuchat and nothing else and then posted a few pics of some fish instead of going on and on about how others have hidden agendas, and throwing in thinnly veiled derrogatory remarks, Im not going to quote you, to like you said let the post die, but common man the diving world is quite small, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to put 2 and 2 together.... I really dont see the argument in this, what does it matter what gun you have at the end of the day if you can catch fish with it, then cool, if you dont catch then go and practice on a target for an hour or two. If you can hit what you aim at, then your chances of landing that fish increase exponentially, if you have the best gun in the world with laser sights and thingymabob on the end but cant shoot straight then quite frankly youre dekcuf! OK bigger fish need more rubber bands but the same law holds! no good hit no fish on the BBQ
Skill and finnese is what catches fish! Not wonder cannons or (except on occasions) blind luck! go learn how to hit what you aim at! If a gun recoils then learn how to shoot it! It will recoil in the same way every time! FACT and if your gun is up to the job in hand you will eat that night. If not eat chicken!
