Wohhh nice one Mart!

Just to double check the agenda again - crowd arrive Monday, Herm Tuesday night, Fire barbie gourmet ciderfest Thursday night, crowd going back Friday? Have taken Weds-Fri off but other visitors arriving for long weekend Friday! Weather looks good anyway.

Is Col's itinerary right? Think Birchy's here for 7 days not 5.

Soooo.... Next Monday Podge and stuckinsurrey arrive on the ferry, Spaniard, Camilla and baby Lola arrive by plane at? also Birchy arrives by plane at? and Glowworm is on the ferry? with podge and sis?

Who has cars? Podge and sis in the podgemobile, the spanish party in a hire car? and Birchy in a hire car? and glowworm either with podge and sis in the pmobile or in his own car? Doesn't really matter as long as we can cater for everyone.

Forgotten where everyone is staying too. Spniard and family at the Peninsular? and the others elsewhere, out in the sticks I think.

Who's helping out locally. Me, Mart, Col, assorted female partners, Derek, Tom? Ed? Andy R? Jonny? Newbies? others? Who have I missed?

Not long now :).

Dave.

Dave; Jim, The Pikey and myself will all be in John’s car as he has an estate (for carrying all the pikey goats and bits of old furniture around:):)) and I think we are staying up the hill by the airport somewhere.
We’ll be there on the morning ferry and should be sat at Victor Hugo’s by 10.00 ish for a quick one before we dive somewhere.
See you next week:)

It’ll be fine, we’ll use those little chaps and there little fold up bikes that fit in the boot of the car. All will be well as long as John takes all the Pikey used barbed wire and old buckets out the back of his car.roflroflrofl

Wow not long now.

Yes i decided to take my car as it's the newest, largest and most reliable between the 3 of us. Plus i am the most sensible:blackeye

Don't worry Podge i'll make sure there's plenty of space in the boot for you:crutch:crutch

The men with fold up scooters who drive you home sound a laugh....not for them taking Jim,Paul and myself back to the hotel after an evening of fun:friday:friday

I'm very happy to help out so if anyone needs anything just ask. haven't been in the water since the end of june so it'll be good to try some diving again :)
are folks bringing torches for night dives?
It would be great to see some of the Guernsey locals meeting up too - put some names to faces etc...
Water's looking very very clear at the mo :)

The Spaniard clan arrive at Guernsey airport at 12:50 on the 24th. We get a hire car as part of hotel deal and I hope to Christ that the car people have sorted a car seat for Lola or my wife will kill me. I hope to navigate successfully to Peninsula Hotel and then we are game on for whatever! I will need to liaise with OMD to pick up some gear he has kindly guarded for me or else I will look quite stupid trying to dive without gun, fins and weights...:t We are completely flexible on all activities so no worries on that front! Camilla is looking forward to eating her body weight in seafood and I can't understand what Lola is saying? I will probably not even see or shoot a single fish (as usual) but I am up for it!!! :friday See ya all soon!

I'm off Weds-Fri and on hand if required, and Mrs S should be around most afternoons for girlie-shopping, kiddie minding etc. Diving times look like being mid-late afternoon, Thurs. p.m. is our Battle of Flowers if any non-divers want some entertainment. I think Weds. evening looks free and diving should be finished by say 7-8 if anyone's up for a barbie or whatever afterwards at mine. :friday:friday:crutch:hungover:p:yack

I decided we would just play it by ear regarding Herm, night diving, lobster & crayfish feast.
I will be receiving 16 live lobsters on Sun morning + a few crabs & the cray is now living in a block of ice in a commercial freezer.
Also I have got some pink fur apples potatoes....

Bad news (for me) got to go see an ear specialist at 4pm. My ear infection is back, big time. looks like a job for dyna rod.

Also next week I gotta go interview a man about a job next Tuesday but only for an hour or so at midday and Thursday gotta go help with exam results but again just for an hour in the morning. Apart from that "I'm free Mr Humphries".

As Mart said we'll play it by ear (ouch - not me ear again). Looking forward to it.

Dave.

Sorry I havn't posted/been active/helpful on this thread.

Bottom line is that I am away from weds next week (sailing trip to IOW so not all bad) and working mon & tues. If I can help with a dive on either monday or tuesday over the low after work time then let me know thats all the help I can offer I;m afraid.

Forecast looks good for next week. Bad luck about the ear Dave. I had an infection a couple of years ago when I went to Cyprus and had tank diving booked, it is so annoying because there is absolutely nothing you can do about it

Sorry to hear that Dave. My son got his A level results today and is off to Bournemouth Uni, so I'll have to make sure he takes my spare gun and some gear!:)
