Ok on other devices tho...........8pm now. it is being removed now .will be up in a bit, with normal water sounds! You can see now what I was saying about the pictures being over exposed in bright beam of torch .have found some plastic to try over front of lens that may do the trick.....surfs massive down here on the north costs of cornwall sea looks fantastically clear tho.

Thanks for sorting the vid out. I see what you mean with over exposure. That torch is supper bright and concentrated. The torch arrived and turned out not to be a zoomable torch at all. They've offered me £5 back as a gesture. Still looks, feels good and is very bright. I might get to try it before the weekend.

Just for info. Bed levelling work commenced today at Pwllheli so vis will probably be bad.

I would of liked to come along but I'm 300 miles south of you on the south side of cornwall near Falmouth sea is good 4+m vis cold 9 oC ? Didn't have my vyper on took gopro may have some footage of me missing flatys from 1m ! With the old faithfully 45 !.Very happy got 2 one of 2lbs my p.b. and 2nd + 3rd fish of season .Hope you have joy to night.Let us know how you do.

just got back from the dive. vis was not as good as what I was wishing for but still workable. vis up to 1-2m.
started trawling in about 4ft of water and i saw a lovely bass on my left about 5ft away, rushed the shot and missed. carried on for another 15 mins and saw a lovely bass moving from center to left, took aim and got him right in the gill plate and stunned it.:martial
whent a little further allong and saw some schoolies so i just watched them go about their buissnes.
on the swim back i saw a nice mullet move to my right, took aim and i got him just behind of the guill plate and off it went like a shot. managed to get hold of it in the end, and the stinger soon put end to its escape plans.
decided to head back in. (hand an fingers where numb.) and i saw a seabream so i put it on my stinger with the rest of the fish.
All in all not no to bad.


bass around 5lb mullet 4lb bream was 260mm

Dario had one a few years ago and a guy caught one off Anglesey last year on a rod and line but seriously, they are very rare - probably most interesting fish we'll see in the North Wales thread this year!

Hi all, just introducing myself...

I'm a newbie based in Flintshire / Manchester looking for someone to buddy up this summer. Really keen to have a crack but want to do it properly. I was out kitesurfing last week and couldn't believe the clarity of water. I want some of that! Hoping to have a splash in some sheltered shallows to begin with and go from there.

Free every weekend if it's less than 20 knots!
