The mullet was filleted and skinned then marinated in tandoori spices before being cooked over a high heat. It was amazing! Will be hitting those stinky mullets in the future.

How long did you cook it...24 or 28 hours?
I have found if you cook them long enough the flesh disappears & you are left with just the spices & you can use them as ground bait when carp fishing?

Screenshot from last outing...full video coming soon!:)

Well Foxfish since you ask it was pan fried in a pan (how else to you fry something) that was hot enough to denature the proteins within the fish. So it was cooked until it was cooked.

Maybe we are missing a trick though as we could bake the scraps and carcasses blend them down and sell them to carp anglers as fish meal boilie mix :)

g...vis was ok, minimum about 3, max about 5 but rough as a night with broceiden...nothing over 4 inches...

Ha ha, sounds like a lovely outing Pat - shame you came away empty handed - you wouldn't have if I'd been there rofl

Amazing work mate - considering it's taken you, of all people, 4 years of extremely hard fishing in North Wales to get a double figure bass, we can all see what a special and rare fish this is. Just awesome!

Thanks for the nice words Dafydd! :)

Here is the full haul of the weekend. Plenty of fish for plenty of recipes!

Talking about recipes I recently made a fish sandwich and it was pretty good stuff.
