If I try to load 2 or more photos ( just tried again ) both say they're loading but only 1 shows up as an attachment.
Have plenty of memory.
If I try to load another it overwrites the previous, happened a few times now.

Sorry not trying to show off my fish honest gov!!!! Tried loading attachments and forgot to delete before submitting.

Can't seem to replicate - email me the original photos to stephan.whelan@deeperblue.com and i'll use your files on my side and see if I can replicate.

Just back home from 3rd night dive to finish my rest days. New spot strong current running, close to home. Very close in fact could have walked it!
2 bass taken biggest approx 3.5lb, missed nice size flounder. Couldn't decide whether to take it or not, in the end it made the decision for me!
Sorry poor photo past midnight and up in 4 hours, will be tired but a happy chap. Top bass in photo is from previous night.

Wind guru showing week of easterlies so viz might be hard to find in quantity around the bay, you might find a few sheltered spots. You may need to head off towards thurlestone or at least that side of south hams, away from the easterlies. Personally I have found thurlestone over dived this year by spearos, so maybe check out google maps for more unexplored areas. Pm me if you want or I'm sure any of the local guys will offer up sheltered areas. Walked the dog teignmouth to dawlish warren last night and viz already disappearing this way. Same part of coast line

Heading to south hams tomorrow morning now as Torbay isn't looking great, probably take a closer look at meadfoot tonight anyway as its on the doorstep.

Will be heading further west of thurlstone probably involve a bit of a walk, but should limit the number of people around

Thurlestone is a perfect example of what happens when people post there dive spots on an open forum for the whole world to see....... it get a bit crowded out there

here here scott. Mind you I've been caught out a few times but soon learn!! happy to give up viz reports of an area but don't go giving away exact spots on the forum. Sometimes you forget your not just talking to fellow mates/spearos. Classic example was my ray last month, great photo with lovely views in the back ground but a complete no no. Ended up taken against jims lovely van looking like sontaran

There are many places that everyone knows about where fish are caught , but this does not mean anyone can go there and catch fish ..... Portland Bill for example !! To be honest I very rarely see other spearos , or fish , could be because I am always in the wrong place at the wrong time !!! Terry....

Had a good couple of dives last week near plymouth, tuesday had a lobbo and a 2.5 lb bass, and on Thursday had an easy 3lb bass but took off and manage to get off so I sadly watched it disappear into the darkness .... Nice to see the bass are around the shores now

Had a 5hr swim, came up with 2 lobsters between us. Did see a few bass, one of which the biggest I have ever seen! Unfotunately didn't even get a shot off. Little bit surprised by the lack of silver fish and massive amount of wrasse.
Will try a different spot in south hams on Tuesday.
Will be eating the lobster tomorrow night.

Hi, Im down in devon, (yelverton) this weekend and was going to take to gun as its rude not to, especially being though the water where you are is so much clearer than here in sussex!!! can anyone pm me any recommendations nearby and best time to go. Thanks in advance.

Went in on Saturday but had a poor session , very windy and choppy with poor vis and gave up after an hour or so , Sunday saw me at another spot ,still very windy but sea a bit calmer in the lea of cliffs , plenty of fish ,bass , pollack and mullet , diving was difficult with choppy seas strong winds and current at this spot , snorkel regularly swamped , and constantly swimming against current , did not help my dive times !! bigger fish did not get close enough to shoot , missed some shots , tagged a few , a couple of others tore off but came away with 4 bass , 2 pollack and 1 mullet , none big ( 2-3 lbs ) but a nice catch in difficult conditions !! VERY hard paddle in kayak back to shore against the wind !!! Terry.......

Went out yesterday afternoon for a short dive as had the whole family on the beach so couldn't really disappear for 5 hours!
Had a good 1-2 hrs in strong currents, reasonable viz and not too far from the beach. I need some target practice though as missed about 4 shots I thought I was going to hit, ended up with a 2lb bass and 2lb mullet. One decent size bass seen, but didn't spot it until i had dived right on top of it, couldn't get the gun positioned in time to get a shot off.

25yrs ago i used to build sandcastles at this location, and dam the small stream up, funny being back there yesterday. The drive back to my parents house in torquay follows one of the most scenic routes in the world.

In a local paper today ( western morning news ) there was an article about a big increase in netting of mullet in rivers and estuaries , particularly the Avon , because the price of mullet has increased to £9 a kilo ! due to promotion by celebrity chefs ( Foxfish perhaps !!!!! lol ) and it is now sometimes being "re-branded " silver mullet !! Also a few days ago was a small feature about spearfishing ( not really very good ) and today there was an informed response letter from a local spearo , from a few years back I think, called Derek Courtnell , does anyone know him ? is he on here ? HI if you are !!! Terry...

Got in today on the ebb. The viz was poor for this spot. There was a fair bit of swell pumping too which made it interesting. I was looking for a big pollack from deep water but I found the bass first and never dived deeper than 7m in the end. I didn't last long as I felt a bit green round the gills due to the swell and my hangover. The poor viz produced a few sightings of lone big bass which is always good to get the enthusiasm up so early in a dive. I kept landing right on them on the gullies and they were off like a flash. I did manage two nearly 5lb in the end and I was happy with that as the location I ended up at was my 3rd choice given the conditions in the other spots I tried.

I saw the human spider on the beach too. Nice to meet you again, I hope you had some good results with your camera in the sheltered bay.

Good to see you Dave and nice catch considering the conditions. I had an early morning dive at another spot nearby and had three mullet. Second dive was with the daughters and the camera but vis was a bit poor for wide angle photography so I don't think there will be any great photos (not uploaded yet as we are camping)

Any viz reports please guys either side south hams - slapton or thurlestone way looking to go tonight or possilby the bay?
Checking web cams the bay looks fairly sheltered, just not sure on viz. bigbury showing white horses breaking so think that's a no go
teignmouth to dawlish warren brown and choppy.
