cheers, no it did not bite me but i have been bitten twice before with other ones i have caught, i got bitten on the arse by one once luckily it caught my wetsuit and not me but took about five minuites to get it off. they got some seriouse teeth.

Haha damn I missed that!

When I was in France with Alix I shot 3 of them. I seen a whole school of them and the guy I was diving with send they 'had a death wish' hahah.

We skinned them (very difficult.. which is why I didn't do it :)) and then fried them up. Tasted amazing and I agree with foxfish with his comment about chicken of the sea.

Do you see a lot of them around you Foxfish?

Hi guys, since i'm up in London ,can anyone tell me what times the tides are tomorrow. Thinking of going down to the palace pier. Do you guys know what the conditions are like out there, and is anyone going tomorrow?? Pretty grey and dull here in London at the moment, looking for something more blue.

hey morgan well done on the trigger fish, i fillited mine, i think thay taste really nice.

hey pices i am going tommorow, hight tide about 1pm, will be going to the place pier i am gonna get down there for 4pm, the vis is good at the moment probably 4 to 5 meters. maybe more., it was when i went last anyway.

thanks for that jwells. If i go it will probably be am to avoid traffic getting down there. The vis sounds good.

will be pretty deep at mid day we have big tides this week but good luck.
let me know how you get on.

Nice trigger jwells iv not heard of many being cought around these parts , water must be getting warmer, are they loners or swim in groups?. ill try to get down to the pier tommorrow afternoon at 4 or might head to newhaven or seaford at high tide (easier to park) .

hey huntfish, that one was on its own but i have seen them in a shoal at the westpier there must have been like 20 of them just sat there, they dont tend to be scared of your presence i find.
i think the pier will be worth it tommorow hopefully see you down there.

What happened to everyone yesterday.:)

Might have been a bit windy but the water was still very clear. Vis was at least 6 metres.

Big shoals of pouting, but that was about it at the pier.

I went down Newhaven key yesterday visability was poor about 2 meters at the best . I saw a couple of small bass but their were kayac fishermen so couldnt get right to the end . The current also was a bit strong when swimming back it, surged and kept me in one place for a few seconds, at a time very tiring but eventually made it back.
Did u go to the pier yesterday Pisces, did anyone have any luck?
I nearly made it to the pier but after stopping at newhaven there were a couple of divers coming out the water, they had been feeding flatfish so i thought id go find them but no luck.

went to the pier to have a look but vis looked bad so gave it a miss on saturday, will try to go again today, hopefully this evening.

anyone gonna go tommorow, i want to try it but think that it still may not have cleared, from the wind recently, went to the beach on wednesday and the water was really brown did not see it today but it was calm on the webcam.
if not tommorow anyone going saturday.

Hi jwells im planning on going saturday but not sure about the vis its been blowing the last few days hopefully it will stay calm till saturday. what web cam do u go on to see the sea state?

Vis is already good this morning. Went for a bike early this morning along the marina arm.
