Neat Pro ReviewAA! Lots to chew on. I think this introduction can grow a much larger following for the existing monofin sports... Maybe even spawn something quite new....... Dolphin Drafting !?!?!?

Thank you Jeff, very nice review, with usable video's to boot.
Indeed Ted's product looks like a winner, I hope to see it on more fluke finners soon.

One omission I noticed, was the lacking delivery times many have experienced. I hope they will get resolved, but I say that customer service is an important part of the 'consumer experience'.

Excellent review! Totally consistent with my own product impressions, within my own freediving ability. We're going to go swimming in a few minutes with two Lunocets ;-)) and maybe my glide will be a tiny bit better-got some new jammers from Yingfa. The Lunocet Pro is working well for me swimming on the surface too-I often do these swims for fun and fitness, though they may not add much to my freediving. It has been helping my dolphin kick to improve as well!

Yep, awesome review.

I had to chuckle when reading the comment about waiting months for Monos to arrive from Eastern Europe, know some people who actually had pretty decent delivery times from for one Ukraine recently.. despite the country being almost in a civil war.

Anyhow, thrilled to have a go, when it eventually arrives.

Nooooo.... and should take like 1.5-2 weeks more...
Damn you AA, now it's even harder to wait :D
Oh no, has there been another production delay? I received my tracking number 9 days ago, but it appears that nothing has been shipped. I have not heard back from Ted, so I am a bit confused. Is it realistically going to be a few more weeks?

I'm in the Azores, the middle of the Atlantic and the fin will go to the mainland first (Portugal) and then to the Azores... yours should be almost delivered. You can relax a bit now :)

No, they are on the way ... Marginatus' number appears to be working. I have filed a complaint with the Atlanta Post office ... they are randomly scanning packages. However, after speaking with a representative yesterday, it seems that if the label is difficult to scan because of a wrinkle or some imperfection how the bar code lays on the box the worker may try to scan once and then just pass it on. To compound the poor chances of being scanned, I drop the packages off at the sorting facility at the Atlanta airport so I can push my work day as late as possible (they are open 24 hours)... for international shipments this means they have only one shot at being scanned... whereas if they were dropped at the post in Nicholson, there would have been 3 opportunities for a successful scan.

Thanks for the update Ted, I will continue my Zen master patience training.

Thanks to AA for all 3 parts of the 2014 Lunocet review (and the great videos)! Very informative and entertaining.

A big thank you to AA for his amazing reviews. They took a while but the work and detail put in them certainly justifies this.
Besides the fact that the fins (especially the Pro) come out to be very competent in this review, the information presented is quite enriching for us all.
Ted must be quite happy to have had you on board for this part of the project. Thanks again !

Noa!

Nudge... Nudge...... Looking forward to your Pro early impressions too! I remember you were awaiting shoes....... Help us through the end of this dry season as we anticipate the shipments arriving!

Hi everyone, firstly can I say Thank you for all the info on this one post. It's been an invaluable read. No need to write an instruction manual for the Lunocet as all the information is in this thread :-D
Thoroughly enjoyed the reviews, especially the one about the Pro

My partner ordered me a Lunocet pro on the 17th March. I understand there have been manufacturing issues and others have been waiting longer than me. We've tried emailing Ted, but had no reply. Not really surprised as he sounds rushed off his feet. Our invoice number is 1439 and it's heading to Whitby North Yorkshire in the U.K. Anyone know how we can find out where a bouts in the huge pile of orders we may be? We're heading out to Greece at the end of May & I'm really hoping to take it with me

It's quite ironic that I should have the fin and not the shoes. I spend so much time looking at the Pro...looking back at me. "Soon buddy, real soon..." I find myself speaking to it as if it's my loyal dog eagerly waiting for his daily outing : )
And we're having all these days of super clear and calm spring seas, the fin would be magic. I'm in there most days though, getting ready for my fluke swimming...

While I patiently await for my Lunocet experience to begin, I wish to share one of the several projects I have with this fin.
Some will remember this thread from some time ago...http://forums.deeperblue.com/threads/underwater-fin-surfing.53588/
I think the Lunocet Pro will be amazing for this application and have great hopes of taking the whole sport of subsurfing to a new level. Will keep you posted as things unfold...

Can't take photos of myself, so thought I'd share photos of some friends using my dear Lunocet for another purpose it has…having fun!

Great News! Ted got in touch and one of his Awesome hand made creations will be leaving his workshop the middle of next week and heading to North Yorkshire :-D

Wouldn't that be a sight Noa? A pod of Lunocet swimmers. We fell in love with a small Greek island many years ago and go back every year. It's almost like a gathering of friends and family. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It's Skiathos. I'm sure most Greek islands are as beautiful and welcoming, but thats where we head each year.
