Sure someone can pick you up take you back etc. Me if no one else. Save you a taxi fare (which is horrific price over here). Let me or Mart know your flight number and a mobile number if you got one. PM either of us. We are looking forward to seeing you.

Dave

I'm on a similar schedule to Spaniard - I will fly in from Exeter on Thursday late afternoon - I'll check the flight. Then I leave on Monday evening.

I live near the airport, and since (according to OMD) I only work part timerofl rofl I wish I had 6 weeks off in the summer!!

I'll happily pick someone up let me know you're flight details

Hi I'm also happy to provide lifts as a backup for OMD and Foxy if needed.:)

Went in just after the high tide to a fairly central place, where I went a few weeks ago. Saw a few shoals of bass - couldn't decide which to shoot and I spent too long in the aim and got nothing! Vis was only about 5 ft.

I wish to came guys but my wife desnt want to let me go alone in Guernsey:waterwork , anyway I wish great time for you all.

Thank you Foxfish I will try to speak with my wife again and try to contact 1shoot 1kill,maybe we can share the car and get the ferry if the price is not to bad as you said.My wife want just save as much is possible for our hols in Croatia at the end of August (it is also a Honeymoon).I dont think the accomodation for few days will cost a lot.

Well if the weather stays like today we will all be doing a lot of socialising :friday & not much diving. As it happens Rocquette cyder is now available on draught in certain pups, I tried a pint a few days ago & to be honest I did not really feel it compares with the bottled stuff.
I will most lightly feed the guys who arrive on Thursday in my party house at the bottom of my garden! Don't worry guys it is quite civilised (ish) so any guerns who want to come down for a fire & a drink & say hello feel free to join us but I wont be cooking for everyone!
It would of been nice to make some more plans for the weekend but I guess we will have to wait & see what the weather throws at us?! However we will get in the water somewhere & we will catch some fish.
If anyone fancies lobster & doesn't want to take the risk of not catching one, I can order fresh lobster at a very good price from my commercial friend. Normal cost if I order a few would be £6.00 each but I need to know in advance.

OK after four pms I had better explain!!
The lobsters are £6.00 each regardless of size but they are only available to me at that price because the fisherman is my friend. Normally my family & close friends are the only ones to benefit at this price. However I can cancel this weeks delivery & ask him to save them for when you boys are over here. I dont know how many there will be as the weather is effecting the full time fishermen as well!

Being a bit of a greedy git, (although not wanting to take the food out of your family’s mouth)rofl you can put me down for some, and I would thing that Jim will be up for a bit as well.:)
Nice one

I think the lobster party is on :friday I have sent a few text to my mate who is presently 15 miles off the north coast of Alderney! (tough bloke). He has 6 lobsters for me this sat but should have another 10 or 12 by the 28th + I can have a free deep sea crab, the last one he gave me was a huge thick shelled monster!!
I think we will have our lobster (& crab) party on the Sunday evening & if no one objects I will cook them up & serve in my own Guernsey way? Of course we may have some fish to go with our feast? I would love to make this an open invitation to all but I cant really cope with more than 15 so any guerns wanting to share the lobster feast will be first come first served.
I thought on the sat night we could go to the pub, the mariners then Blind o reillys for the live band. These pubs are not in town but in a little shopping centre along side the marina.
Not sure about Friday any ideas?
