Wessex Spearfishing Club 2009

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I wont be able to make it tonight as feeling rough, (hope its not the swine flue, havent come out in rashers or got the trots as yet) but Alex says that portland is calm as of last night so may be a good idea to meet at the castle carpark and decide from there if anyone is interested, i suspect the vis to be poor though although you never know.

I will send the txt out now anyway.

I'm not feeling too well either mate. Caught some kind of bug off my missus that is giving me cold-type syptoms. Had the day off work yesterday - don't think its swine flu; but whatever it is, its not very condicive to enjoyable diving!

I was planning to go and all the gear in the car but during the morning I started to feel rough as well,the squids!.
I ll give it a miss today.I hope everybody recovers well and don't grow snouts!
 
Me neither chaps - off to the Scilly isles on Weds and need to pack and get the stuff sorted...

I am not playing either as also a bit bunged up. Will just have to attack the home brew instead:fridayHave just bought my little girl a skateboard do you think I should have a go before or after the brew?:crutch
 
The conditions aren't looking too clever anyway chaps.

Im away with work all of next week, but as from 7th August I'm on three weeks holiday, so should be available to go spearing with anyone, at any place, any time - just give me a shout and I'll be there (and the weather just has to get better by then, surely).

I have joined the sicky group - just had the arthroscopy on my knee so I'm out for a while as well!! :(
 
i think we should organise a club bbq, weather youre ill or the viz is crap there is always time for beer and meat!:friday

have a good dive paul, let us know if there are any fish!

hope your knee gets sorted soon flyflicker ive got to have surgery on wed so fingers crossed i could be in the water in a fortnight thats if everything goes to plan and they dont cock it up!
