I don't know Don.

I'll stop counting them when it'll be too much of a bother.
On the other hand, I did my first "no warm-up" today.
Method:
I put 2 songs on my playlist, the first one was 8:50~ long, in which I just laid down and breathed naturally - excluding one max inhale+some packing relatively at the begning of the song, to stretch myself.
When the second song started I exhaled, inhaled and went for it - no packing in static for me yet, thankyou.
Result:
3:08 with 50 contractions (which is relatively alot in statics for me) starting at 1:10~ (later checked by the part of the song).
Introspection:
It felt quite different - the most different and unexpected thing is that straight at the beginning I felt this feeling in my head that I normally get at the late part of the fight phase which I relate to increased blood pressure in the head. I stoped noticing it before the contractions came, not sure if it disapeared.
I had much harder time keeping my air in at the beginning, I think fighting with it might even cause my contractions to apear early.
On the other hand, I felt like they started much earlier than the time I concluded for them, something in the sorts of 30secs.
They started at a rate of 1 every 4 seconds or so and speeded up to about one per socond, or even a bit faster.
I'm pleased with getting to 3mins that way, the static felt much shorter.
Hopfully I'll make myself repeat this.
Even if I could do only 4 mins in that way, I'de be pleased.
* Except a 6 floors-up sprint a few days ago I haven't done any apnea traning in months now.
